IP Address 

   IP Address (IP Address, Internet Protocol Address) is a number that are used to identify a computer, server or other device in the network internal or Internet via TCP / IP. Consisting of a series of (four-part) numbers separated by a period (eg 123.123.123.1).

   
IP addresses consist of two parts: the network ID and host ID, network ID is the address of a computer network while the host ID is the address of the host such as computers, routers and others. Exclusive IP address on a computer must be unique so that the IP address of each computer is different.




The division of Class IP Address

 
IP Address Class A
   
an IP address with a very large number, so it is usually used for very large networks with a number of hosts that very much. For example in the use of IP address: 113.46.5.6, 113 serves as the network ID while 46.5.6 serves as its host ID.
 
IP Address Class B
   
an IP address with the number of hosts that currently, the maximum number of hosts ranging 65534 host, so the IP is suitable for networks with a number of hosts that are not too big and not too small. For example the use of Class B IP address is: 132.92.121.1, 132.92 serves as the network ID while 121.1 serves as the host ID.
 
Class C IP Address
   
an IP address with the number of hosts that is so small that the IP address is used for small networks such as in schools, office-home office or agency, the maximum number of hosts on that IP address is only 254 hosts. For example the use of Class C IP Address is: 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1 is the network ID and the second is its host ID.
